1967 Lincoln Continental This is a classic 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible Sedan that runs and drives with the odometer showing 74,955. (The title marks the mileage as actual, but being that this vehicle is 10 years old it will be exempt). The 1967 Lincoln Continental was the only post War World II four door convertible available in the market and it was the last year a four door convertible was manufactured. In its time, Lincoln beckoned prospective buyers to “Come Live the Continental Life.” Lincoln's new flow-through ventilation system, which the company called "Fresh-Flow," was standard. Fresh air was continuously allowed to enter the car, even with the windows up, displacing stale air through a system of vents and valves. Ford elected to make the 1967 model the only year that a unit-body Lincoln hood sported a spring-loaded star hood ornament. It was also the second year in a row that ford decided to spell out the name CONTINENTAL on the hood. The "suicide door" style was to become the best-known feature of 1960s Lincolns, which this model proudly boasts. This Lincoln sits comfortably on 15in white wall tires and comes equipped with power windows, power seat, temperature control, an analog clock, and an AM/FM Radio.
This Lincoln has a silver/blue metallic paint finish that is in average condition and comes with a blue leather interior. The front driver side fender has a dent & some rust, and there is also minor paint nicks on the driver & passenger door. There is a small tear on the convertible top and the power windows do not function properly.
This collector car will make any buyer satisfied and proud on owning a piece of American History.
